Job summary

National Grid in Warwick, UK is seeking a Data Solutions Manager to support the development, implementation and management of systems and processes that improve data quality and governance across Corporate Affairs and the wider business.

You will translate colleagues’ data and technology requirements into practical deliverables, design dashboards in Power BI, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to drive value while working in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in data analytics and data visualisation using Power BI.
• Strong understanding of data management principles, governance and data quality.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical data and technology solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with strong stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Manage stakeholder data, governance activities and data quality processes.
• Develop and improve data quality standards, controls and remediation.
• Analyse business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Translate requirements into data, technology and process solutions.
• Design and deliver dashboards and visualisations using Power BI.
• Administer and improve stakeholder management systems and governance.
• Design solutions that combine data, systems and technologies to meet needs.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and technology partners.
• Investigate data, system and process incidents and ensure policy compliance.
• Support wider Strategic Operations & Intelligence team objectives.
