Job summary

John Banks Group in Cambridge is seeking an experienced Renault Technician to join our franchised dealer team. You will service, diagnose, and repair Renault, Dacia and Alpine vehicles to manufacturer standards, with opportunities to work across Honda and Mazda models and train on EV systems.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ or higher in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Renault accreditation or franchised dealership experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience with modern vehicle systems and diagnostic equipment.
• Full UK Driving Licence; MOT Tester is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on Renault, Dacia and Alpine vehicles.
• Assist with servicing and repair work across Honda and Mazda where required.
• Perform advanced fault finding using manufacturer diagnostic systems and tools.
• Complete vehicle health checks and electronic reports accurately.
• Undertake warranty work in line with manufacturer standards.
• Carry out MOT testing (when qualified), brake repairs, tyre fitting and air conditioning servicing.
• Train on EV and work with Service Advisors to ensure efficient workflow.
• Support and mentor apprentice and junior technicians.
