Job summary

John Banks Group in Cambridge is seeking a qualified Renault Technician to join our franchised dealer team, focusing on Renault, Dacia and Alpine alongside MOT testing where qualified.

You will service, diagnose and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards, mentor junior techs, and work with service advisors to deliver quality customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified Renault Technician with strong workshop experience.
• MOT testing capability preferred.
• Experience with Renault, Dacia and Alpine brands.
• At least five years automotive experience.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on Renault, Dacia and Alpine.
• Assist with work across Honda and Mazda when required.
• Perform advanced fault finding using manufacturer systems.
• Complete vehicle health checks and electronic reports.
• Undertake warranty work to manufacturer standards.
• MOT testing (if qualified), brake repairs, tyres and AC servicing.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors and workshop team for efficiency.
• Mentor apprentices and junior technicians.

Are you a qualified Renault Technician or an experienced automotive technician looking to further your career with a professional and forward-thinking franchised dealer group?

John Banks Group is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Renault Technician to join our growing team in Cambridge.

The Role

As a Renault Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing customer vehicles to manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on Renault, Dacia and Alpine vehicles.
• Assist with servicing and repair work across Honda and Mazda where required.
• Perform advanced fault finding using manufacturer diagnostic systems and specialist tools.
• Complete vehicle health checks and electronic reports accurately.
• Undertake warranty work in line with manufacturer standards.
• Carry out MOT testing (if qualified), brake repairs, tyre fitting and air conditioning servicing.
• Work closely with Service Advisors and the wider workshop team to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer satisfaction.
• Support and mentor apprentice and junior technicians where required.
