Job summary

You will drive warehouse performance, coordinate schedules, and act as deputy to the Head of Relocation Services, while building a strong, compliant, and customer-focused team.

• Hands-on leadership from shop floor to senior stakeholder levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse and operational activity to ensure compliant, customer-focused delivery.
• Manage all warehouse functions including storage, inventory, and dispatch.
• Coordinate schedules, resources, and diary management to meet demand.
• Serve as primary operational contact for high-profile customers and maintain service levels.
• Embed a customer-first culture across operations and drive value in interactions with customers.
• Identify and implement innovative, efficient solutions to mitigate risk and reduce costs.
• Liaise with Sales, Customer Services, and Projects to align delivery with accounts and requirements.
• Monitor KPIs (utilisation, turnaround time, stock accuracy) and drive improvements.
• Lead initiatives to streamline processes, including digitisation and automation where appropriate.
• Support Head of Relocation Services in divisional initiatives and national optimisation.
• Drive cost control and efficient use of resources to maintain profitability without compromising quality.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse colleagues and manage recruitment and onboarding.
