Job summary

Support Revolution is seeking an experienced SAP Functional Payroll Analyst to join our UK Tax, Legal & Regulatory (TLR) team. You will specialise in SAP HCM Payroll across the UK, with a strong Public Sector focus, analysing legislation and configuring SAP Payroll to keep customers compliant with evolving UK rules.

You will work with SAP developers, QA engineers and consultants in an Agile environment, translating legislation into SAP solutions and delivering end-to-end payroll changes for

Qualifications

• 10+ years SAP Functional experience.
• Strong SAP HCM Payroll configuration experience.
• Experience supporting SAP ECC Payroll environments.
• Excellent knowledge of UK payroll legislation and annual updates.
• Experience delivering end-to-end payroll processing.
• Experience producing functional specifications and translating legislation into SAP solutions.
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
• Public Sector payroll requirements experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for SAP UK Payroll, specialising in Public Sector Payroll.
• Analyse annual UK payroll legislation changes and translate into Agile user stories and SAP configurations.
• Configure SAP HCM Payroll to deliver legislative updates and change requests.
• Collaborate with development teams throughout the Agile lifecycle to design and deliver payroll solutions.
• Interact with UK customers to understand complex payroll requirements and provide functional guidance.
• Produce functional documentation and communicate legislative requirements to stakeholders.
• Perform functional validation, unit testing and support end-to-end testing for compliance.
• Mentor QA teams on payroll testing approaches and outcomes.
• Provide advice on payroll legislation, SAP Payroll functionality and best practices.
• Support customer projects needing SAP Payroll expertise.
• Handle complex Public Sector payroll scenarios including RTI, multiple employment, sequencing, backdated pay and compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in Tax, Legal & Regulatory services, including AI/automation opportunities.
