Job summary

Experis, based in the United Kingdom, seeks a seasoned SAP Payroll consultant to deliver multiple projects and provide live support within a large SAP practice.

The role covers SAP HCM and Payroll design, configuration, and delivery for a flagship account, collaborating across onshore and offshore teams in a hybrid setup with two days in the office in Telford.

Contract is six months, BPSS clearance desirable; strong knowledge of SuccessFactors and SAP roadmap expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, support, and enhance SAP HCM and Payroll solutions for our flagship account.
  • Operate as part of our HCM and Payroll team within a large SAP practice.
  • Work in a multi-supplier environment to deliver projects and resolve live service issues.
  • Investigate, design, and configure SAP Payroll and HCM according to industry best practices.
  • Prepare documentation artefacts such as Solution Documents, Functional Specifications, and WRICEFs.
  • Work with our experienced onshore and offshore team, reporting to a Team Lead.
  • Estimate your work and provide delivery impact assessments.
  • Support and liaise closely with client teams to resolve issues, provide solutions, and meet contractual obligations

Requirements:
  • A seasoned SAP Payroll consultant with hands-on experience delivering multiple projects and working in live support environments, ideally with some experience in the public sector
  • Strong functional HCM skills, including expert-level Payroll knowledge and familiarity with Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Self-Services, Time Management, Travel Management, SuccessFactors, and country legal changes
  • Broader technical awareness in areas such as Workflow, ABAP, BASIS, Portals, Security, Integration, and UI5
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Innovative and open-minded, with a passion for change and dynamic teamwork
  • Enthusiasm for SAPs roadmap and awareness of leading technologies such as SuccessFactors, Cloud Analytics, Concur, S/4 HANA, and BTP

We are supporting one of Capgeminis flagship accounts within a substantial, multi-tiered SAP technical estate. This is a consultative SAP HR - Payroll role based in Telford, with 2 days per week in the office, on a 6-month contract. The role offers the opportunity to work as part of a dynamic, collaborative, and determined team within a much larger SAP practice, delivering quality solutions for an enthusiastic client. We operate in a large SAP installation with strong opportunities to influence solution design, support digital transformation, and work with a broad range of stakeholders across a complex environment. Clearance required is BPSS, with SC eligibility an advantage.
