Job summary

Atlas Copco is seeking a Field Service Engineer to maximize service profitability by delivering professional tools engineering services across the UK Midlands. You will be responsible for installation, commissioning, calibration, and preventative maintenance of Atlas Copco tooling, both in workshop and at customer sites, while coordinating with the central service team.

The role requires a flexible attitude, willingness to travel, occasional overnight stays, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• HNC in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Industrial Power Tools (Pneumatic, Battery and DC).
• Experience in Manufacturing or Customer Service Environment.
• Must be able to attend on site work and develop within the team.
• Flexible attitude to work; may require overnight stays, weekend work and unsociable hours.
• Ability to work individually and on own initiative; PC literate.

Responsibilities

• Provide full and professional tools service in workshop and at customers premises.
• Installations and commissioning of Atlas Copco tooling solutions and externally sourced equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify performance issues with power tools products.
• Calibrate, test and certify Atlas Copco power tool products per procedures.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and pre-delivery testing on tools.
• Maintain and book tools hours and complete shift reports.
