Job summary

Atlas Copco Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide expert on-site service, maintenance, and commissioning across customer sites in the region. You will join a regional service team delivering 24/7 emergency cover and planned preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and safety of critical equipment.

You will work remotely within your designated UK region, plan visits, stock control, and complete tenders as required, upholding Atlas Copco's standards of safety and customer

Qualifications

• Time served apprentice in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with City & Guilds qualification, minimum parts 1 & 2
• A sound knowledge of compressors / vacuum pumps
• Be self driven with a clear focus on high quality.
• Competent and confident, reliable and an empathetic communicator
• A full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Plan daily and weekly visit schedules with service office and customers
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance at hospital sites
• Identify additional works such as manifold and plant installations, completing short form tenders (quotations)
• Control of stock and administration, timesheets, parts order forms, quotations, expenses etc.
• Commissioning of new systems as required
• Be aware of, and apply, Health and Safety regulations during daily tasks
• Maintaining test instruments, to ensure they remain in good condition
