Job summary

Atlas Copco is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment at customer sites across the UK. You will work independently and as part of a supportive team, delivering reliable technical solutions and strong customer service.

The role involves on-site maintenance, problem solving, and mentoring junior engineers, with on-call duties and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or apprenticeship in engineering required.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Strong communication and customer-focused approach a must.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance, and repair work on electrical and mechanical equipment
• Work safely in line with company policies and customer site requirements
• Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and colleagues throughout projects
• Coordinate service visits with the wider service team
• Participate in the on-call rota alongside fellow engineers
• Provide technical support, guidance, and advice to customers
• Complete service documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Keep up to date with product developments, technical knowledge, and industry best practice
• Support and mentor junior engineers and apprentices where appropriate
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships
• Ensure work areas, tools, and company vehicles are kept clean, tidy, and safe
