Pertemps Bond is seeking a Field Sales Engineer to cover the UK remotely with the head office in Wrexham. You will build relationships, identify opportunities and drive sales across industrial automation products, combining field visits with technical discussions.

The role offers a £40,000 base salary plus commission, with a company car or car allowance, and permanent, full-time employment. You’ll travel to customers nationwide, receive training, and enjoy potential international visits and

Qualifications

• Experience in field sales or technical sales in an engineering environment.
• Strong technical understanding of customer applications.
• Proven ability to generate new business and manage accounts.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to travel across the UK with a valid driving licence.
• Self-motivated and able to work remotely.

Responsabilités

• Plan and conduct customer visits across the UK to identify requirements and opportunities.
• Develop new business and nurture existing accounts.
• Reactivate lapsed accounts and expand revenue.
• Provide technical consultations on applications and specifications.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate terms to secure orders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve product queries.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and diary management.
• Keep up to date with encoder, automation products and market trends.
