Wave Group is seeking a Data Engineering Manager to lead two squads—Analytics Engineering and Data Engineering—in a fully remote role across the UK. You’ll shape the data platform and oversee architectures that power high-volume data and client P&Ls, with a focus on governance, security, and scalable pipelines.

You will partner with senior architects and ICs, drive 12-24 month roadmaps, and nurture talent in a remote-first culture. Strong cloud, Spark, and Databricks expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Data and Analytics Engineering teams.
• Strong data architecture background spanning data warehouse and lakehouse.
• Deep expertise in cloud data platforms, especially Databricks and AWS.
• Advanced experience with Spark at scale and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of data governance, security and access frameworks.
