Job summary

Midnite Limited is seeking a Data Engineer to drive our data strategy on a fully remote basis within the UK. You will own end-to-end data pipelines, from ingestion to analytics, collaborating with the Data team to shape engineering practices.

The role requires strong Python and SQL skills, experience with modern orchestration tools, and data modelling knowledge. This position offers up to £80,000 per year plus comprehensive benefits. Remote working is supported with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of autonomous data engineering experience.
• Strong Python and SQL expertise; Snowflake preferred.
• Experience with data orchestration tools and monitoring.
• Knowledge of data modelling concepts and methodologies.
• Proficiency with dbt and Git workflows.
• Hands-on experience with modern orchestrators like Dagster/Airflow.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data engineering projects from ingestion to analytics.
• Design, build, and optimise scalable pipelines with Dagster, Python, and Snowflake.
• Write clean, well-tested code and ensure data quality across systems.
• Implement data models aligned with best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and design data architecture.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Support CI/CD and version control processes.
