Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking a DevOps Engineer in the UK to contribute to a rapidly growing cloud-centric product suite. You will build, operate and scale hosted products and services with emphasis on resilience and observability, reporting to the KAM Lead DevOps Engineer.

You will drive automation of infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes across Azure and AWS, and foster a DevOps culture with secure software delivery and robust runbooks.

Qualifications

• Strong, demonstrable experience with public cloud computing using Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of AWS as multi-cloud experience would be beneficial.
• Configuration management and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) required (Terraform/OpenTofu).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling (GitLab CI/GitHub Actions).
• Scripting in PowerShell and/or Bash desirable.
• Containerised workloads and orchestration using Kubernetes, Helm, and related services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance SaaS product offerings with reliability, scalability, observability, and secure delivery.
• Manage and improve CI/CD platforms and build pipelines end-to-end.
• Automate infrastructure, VMs and containerised environments across multiple cloud solutions.
• Champion DevOps practices and drive automation across the organisation.
• Maintain runbooks and playbooks for reliable, scalable platform operations.
