Job summary

Nourish Care is seeking a technical lead to own the architecture and direction of a new Maternity product. The role blends hands-on development with leadership, operating within two-week Agile Scrum sprints and collaborating closely with product management and design.

Experience leading engineering teams in a product environment is essential; strong OO languages such as Ruby, Typescript, Go, Python, and PHP are used across the stack. Remote with monthly travel to Bournemouth.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and architecture of the maternity project.
• Lead by example with hands-on engineering and best practices.
• Ensure engineering standards through code reviews, testing and automation.
• Collaborate with product management to translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Serve as the technical escalation point for the team.
• Build and develop a high-performing engineering team.
