Job summary

Unmind is building a world where mental health is a strength. We’re seeking a Technical Lead to join a product team in a remote-first setup with monthly travel to London.

You’ll blend hands-on engineering with leadership, shaping technical direction, alignment with product goals, and mentoring engineers to deliver impactful software. You’ll work with a stack including TypeScript, React, GraphQL, Node.js, Python, Golang and SQL, and embed AI into delivery using Claude Code to learn and share

Qualifications

• Senior engineer with leadership in product-focused teams.
• Experience partnering with product managers.
• Product and business mindset.
• Ability to trade off technical decisions.
• Clear communication with non-engineering stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Product Manager as their technical counterpart – lean delivery and governance.
• Represent technology in product and roadmap conversations – align with longer-term direction.
• Own the technical direction of the team – architecture and day-to-day decisions.
• Own the technical quality of the team's work – reviews and quality assurance.
• Own the technical sequencing – breakdown, dependencies, risks.
• Build alongside the team – mentor engineers and raise quality.
