Qualifications

• Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale data platforms.
• Proficiency with cloud-native data tools such as Scio, BigQuery, Dataflow, GCS.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, metadata management, governance, and data quality.
• Ability to balance short-term needs with long-term architectural vision.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the long-term data engineering strategy for the Subscriptions User Understanding domain.
• Design scalable batch and streaming data platforms powering analytics, experimentation, ML, and subscriber experiences.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and Platform teams to translate complex business challenges into durable data solutions.
• Lead architectural decisions and establish engineering best practices for data quality, governance, observability, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Design data models and platform architecture supporting sustainable growth toward one billion users.
• Simplify complex systems and reduce technical debt to improve the developer experience.
