You will design scalable batch and streaming platforms and partner across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and Platform teams to deliver durable data solutions.

You will lead architectural decisions, enforce data quality and governance, mentor engineers, and drive initiatives that scale toward one billion users with cost efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing, building, and operating large-scale cloud-native data platforms.
• Strong background in data modeling, governance, and quality practices.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and guide multi-team engineering efforts.

• Define and drive long-term data engineering strategy for the domain.
• Design scalable batch and streaming data platforms powering analytics and ML.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and Platform teams to deliver durable data solutions.
• Lead architectural decisions and establish best practices for data quality, governance, observability, reliability, and operations across squads.
• Design data models and architectures to support growth toward one billion users.
• Simplify complex systems and reduce technical debt while improving developer experience.
• Mentor senior engineers and foster a culture of thoughtful engineering and knowledge sharing.
