Job summary

MLabs Ltd is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our remote-first, Europe/UK/NY/Canada-focused team. The role emphasizes automation-first culture, combining system administration and network engineering to support scalable, reliable infrastructure.

Responsibilities include building automated provisioning pipelines across data centers and cloud environments (AWS, GCP), evolving CD pipelines, and engaging with vendors and financial institutions to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

• Automation & configuration management with Ansible.
• Scripting or programming abilities to build usable scripts or software.
• Strong background in systems administration and network engineering concepts.
• Demonstrated vendor management experience negotiating with third-party vendors and overseeing service delivery.
• Autonomy, self-motivation, open-mindedness, and a continuous learning mindset.

Responsibilities

• Automated Infrastructure Provisioning: Build and scale automated provisioning pipelines for servers and networks across physical data centers and cloud environments (AWS, GCP).
• Continuous Delivery: Develop and evolve CD pipelines to automate deployment of software, server setups, and network switches.
• Vendor & Partner Interaction: Act as technical representative with hardware vendors, telecom providers, and financial institutions via phone and email.
• Procurement & Support: Manage third-party procurement, negotiate vendor agreements, purchase hardware, and enable remote workforce setups.
• Shared Technical Ownership: Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team, sharing full-environment responsibility while learning and sharing knowledge.
