Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Solutions Consultant to shape technical guidance and value realization for customers’ security transformations. You will define technical solutions that secure business imperatives and drive adoption of PANW platforms across on‑prem, cloud, and security operations services.

You will lead discovery, deliver high‑level designs, run technical engagements, and partner with services and success teams to ensure customer success while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in pre‑sales/sales engineering
• Experience in Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint or SASE
• Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives
• Influencing and gaining buy‑in from key stakeholders; pre‑sales ideal
• Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or validation engagements
• Experience in selling/designing/implementing one or more: Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, SOC Transformation
• Partnering with Customer Support to ensure adoption of sold solutions
• Experience in complex multi‑product sales with multiple buying centers

Responsibilities

• Meeting and exceeding sales quotas by building and implementing strategic, technical account plans
• Understand customer business requirements; position and demonstrate high-level designs across PANW portfolio
• Drive customer adoption of Palo Alto Networks Platform
• Build customer relationships to increase productivity, efficiency, security, and innovation
• Conduct discovery to articulate key technical and business imperatives of prospects
• Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success and Specialist teams for adoption
• Lead technical validation efforts to ensure technical wins in opportunities
• Coordinate resources to ensure a one‑team approach and cohesive strategy
• Promote end‑to‑end solutions including PANW services to accelerate value realization
• Understand competitive landscape and differentiate PANW leadership
