TXP is seeking an experienced Service Designer for a remote contract with a major Central Government organisation. The role focuses on delivering GDS-aligned service design across large-scale public services, shaping citizen-facing journeys, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a national context.

The successful candidate will lead discovery through live phases, develop blueprints and maps, and advocate for user-centered practices while ensuring accessibility and policy alignment.

Competenze

• GDS-aligned service design experience in UK Government or public sector.
• Dedicated service designer in multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience designing and improving complex end-to-end services.
• Understanding of GDS Service Standard and UCD practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Experience creating service blueprints, user journeys, service maps and end-to-end service designs.

Mansioni

• Lead service design activities across discovery, alpha, beta and live phases.
• Design and improve end-to-end services meeting user and business needs.
• Develop service blueprints, user journeys and service maps for opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Delivery Managers, policy teams and Tech Architects.
• Advocate for user-centred design and best practice across stakeholders.
