Job summary

Belden Inc. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our growing team in Manchester.

You will work with partners and account managers to design and present RUCKUS networking solutions, develop territory plans, and help customers address technical and business challenges. The role involves technical demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, enablement sessions, and workshops, with travel across the UK and Ireland.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with IP/Wireless technologies.
• Strong pre-sales and account management knowledge.
• Deep knowledge of Wi-Fi evolution (Wi‑Fi 5/6/7), RF propagation, WLAN security, and design best practices.
• Broad understanding of VLAN, Security, VoIP, QoS, BYOD/MDM, PtP, Mesh, Wireless Controller Architectures, Wi‑Fi protocols, RF engineering, and deployment patterns.
• Outstanding communication skills to document and present findings to senior leadership.
• Ability to map partner drivers to customer network platforms and identify design improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop territory account plans and position RUCKUS solutions.
• Engage with partners and end customers through demos, proofs-of-concept, enablement sessions, and workshops.
• Provide accurate kit lists and high-level solution designs to support sales efforts.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to differentiate and position RUCKUS in a competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with Territory and Partner Account Managers to drive revenue and quota achievement.
