Job summary

RudderStack is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect (Post-Sales) for the UK & EMEA. The role is remote-first, with occasional travel, and focuses on technically leading customer implementations, migrations, and data strategy.

You will partner with CSMs, own the technical success of an EMEA portfolio, and advise on architecture while ensuring customers derive real value from RudderStack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineer/Architect/TAM) with 8+ years total experience.
• Proactive self-starter who moves customers forward without prompting.
• High emotional intelligence; builds trust quickly and handles difficult conversations calmly.
• Curiosity about how technology works and ability to learn quickly.
• Customer-focused problem solver balancing creativity with customer interests.
• Lifelong learner who shares knowledge with others.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CSMs as the technical lead for a portfolio of EMEA accounts from onboarding onwards.
• Lead customer onboarding and ensure customers quickly see value.
• Design and manage migration strategies (e.g., from Segment, mParticle) and guide customers.
• Be the go-to person for technical questions across the platform (SDKs, warehouses, reverse ETL).
• Run training sessions tailored to each customer's team and use case.
• Identify gaps in platform usage and demonstrate how features add value.
• Act as trusted advisor on customer data strategy and architecture.
• Gather feedback for Product/Engineering and help shape RudderStack's roadmap.
• Develop subject matter expertise on the customer data landscape and RudderStack's role.
• Occasionally run onsite sessions for relationship building and workshops.
• Escalation point for technical incidents with Engineering and Support.
