Job summary

AtkinsRéalis UK Limited is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Complex Projects team. You will manage pre- and post-contract activities on infrastructure schemes across highways, rail, utilities and energy sectors, delivering value through best practice and commercial leadership.

In this role you will mentor junior staff, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and drive cost control and procurement. Flexible and remote working options are available to support your career ambitions.

Qualifications

Have a quantity surveying / commercial degree or equivalent qualification.
Have/are working towards a recognised chartership.
Experience in administering the NEC suite of contracts.
Experience in commercially managing Infrastructure projects, in at least one sector.
Knowledge of standard methods of measurement – Highways and CESMM.
Understanding of procurement documents for ITT preparation.
Understanding of construction techniques and technology; able to manage medium size projects with minimal supervision.
Experience with the full Microsoft software suite.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Proven ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Curiosity for developing innovative, sustainable and cost-effective solutions.
Experience compiling the full suite of ITT documents.
Experience in project and technical leadership.
Mentoring and coaching junior staff.
Proven track record of client relationship development.
Interest in Business and Account Management.
