Job summary

Ethos is seeking senior proofreaders with 5+ years of reviewing business documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks to support training of our latest language model.

This fully remote, flexible role offers 5–20 hours per week with competitive pay at $70 per hour, starting ASAP.

You will verify accuracy, formatting, and consistency across Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or Google Docs equivalents) before external delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a QA, editorial, or production role reviewing business documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for accuracy, formatting, and consistency before external delivery.
• Sharp eye for formula errors, broken links, mismatched figures, and formatting drift across Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides) deliverables.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review and proofread business documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks before external delivery to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Audit formatting, formulas, links, and figures across Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or Google Docs equivalents).
• Provide high-quality QA and editorial support for AI training materials.
