Job summary

Velsera, a fully remote, fast-growing precision engine company formed by Seven Bridges, Pierian & UgenTec, is seeking a Global Controller. Reporting to the SVP, Finance, you will lead the day-to-day accounting across multiple units and geographies, driving the monthly close, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience including management of an accounting team.
• Experience in public accounting is strongly preferred.
• General ledger accounting system implementation and integration is a strong plus.
• Ability to lead, supervise and guide a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Highest standard for integrity, accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite; proficient with NetSuite.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and familiarity with a three-statement model.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee global monthly close process and reporting.
• Direct supervision of the Global Accounting team across multiple locations.
• Supervise invoicing, accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, payroll and treasury duties.
• Primary liaison with external accountants and lead year-end audit.
• Serve as Administrator/SME for Netsuite and accounting applications.
