Job summary

Remote People Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Controller to own the numbers end-to-end in a fast-growing, remote SaaS environment. You will partner with leadership to bring enterprise-grade financial discipline and scale the accounting function as the company grows.

You will manage monthly closes, revenue recognition for subscription models, payroll across multiple currencies, and treasury. The role starts as an IC and evolves into broader leadership as the team scales.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Controller in a large-scale, product-led SaaS company.
• Hands-on experience with high-volume subscription billing systems.
• Qualified accounting certification (CPA/ACA/ACCA).

Responsibilities

• Own monthly close, reporting, and NRR/cohort analysis.
• Oversee billing, revenue integrity, refunds, credits, and bad debt.
• Administer global payroll and contractor payments across currencies.
• Manage accounts payable and vendor relationships.
• Lead cash management and treasury; ensure funding for large payments.
• Support audits and diligence; liaise with auditors.
