Job summary

McCabe & Barton is assisting a leading Financial Services organisation in London/Southeast with the appointment of a Head of Data Platform Engineering. The role is remote-first with occasional travel to the London/Southeast offices, offering a base salary of £140,000 plus excellent benefits.

Qualifications

Strong technical background in modern data platform engineering leading teams (senior).
Deep knowledge of Snowflake, Azure and cloud-based data environments.
Proven experience with DataOps, DevOps, CI/CD and modern engineering practices.
Strong understanding of data platform architecture, scalability, performance, security and governance.
Experience driving platform optimisation, automation and cost control.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional delivery.
Strong people leadership skills with experience building high-performing technical teams.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development and evolution of the enterprise data platform.
Own the data platform roadmap and drive delivery across strategic change and BAU.
