Job summary

Leading Global CRO is hiring a Senior Clinical Data Manager for a 100% remote UK role. You will own data management deliverables, manage timelines, and liaise with clients on scope and quality of data for global clinical trials.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in pharmaceutical data management, strong knowledge of ICH-GCP, and proven leadership. The position offers flexible remote work with dedicated support from a global team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in health/pharmaceutical sciences, physical/biological sciences, or chemistry fields.
• At least 5 years of pharmaceutical clinical trial data management experience (or 2+ years as a CDM II).
• Solid understanding of ICH-GCP, data flows, data standards and industry guidance.
• Proven leadership in data management projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary day-to-day owner of all data management deliverables, timelines, and status reports for assigned projects.
• Serve as the first line of contact for technical or out-of-scope discussions, participating in kick-offs and meetings.
• Plan study-level resources and mentor junior staff; deliver training on EDC systems, dataflow, and QC processes.
• Maintain clinical trial Data Management Study Binders and provide front-line support during audits and inspections.
• Lead study build and design, eCRF design, annotated CRFs, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Develop and maintain essential study documents (DMP, Data Management Project Plan, DQRP).
• Oversee data cleaning, SAE reconciliation, and management of external data streams; resolve coding discrepancies.
• Manage post-go-live database modifications, locks, and coordination with QA for archival documentation.
