Job summary

Strata Consulting seeks an experienced Senior Civil Engineer on contract to focus on residential and commercial development drainage and adoptable highway design.

The role involves hands-on technical work across surface and foul water drainage, SuDS, flood risk, and S104/S38/S278 approvals, working autonomously. Remote working is available, and the ideal candidate is UK-based with right to work.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in UK residential and/or commercial development.
• Proven track record securing S104, S38 and S278 approvals.
• Confident working independently.
• UK-based with right to work.

Responsibilities

• Surface & foul water drainage design.
• SuDS strategies and detailed design.
• Flood Risk Assessments.
• S104 drainage agreements.
• S38 & S278 highway design and approvals.
• Liaison with LLFAs, Environment Agency and Water Authorities.
• Support projects from feasibility through to technical approval.
