Job summary

Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd is seeking a Contract Senior Civil Engineer focused on drainage and highways for residential and commercial developments. The role is based in Surrey/Hampshire with hybrid work and an outside IR35 contract, offering an competitive hourly rate.

The successful candidate will design surface and foul drainage, implement SuDS, conduct Flood Risk Assessments, secure S104, S38 and S278 approvals, and liaise with LLFAs, the Environment Agency and water authorities

Qualifications

• Strong experience in UK residential and/or commercial development.
• Proven track record securing S104, S38 and S278 approvals.
• Confident working independently.

Responsibilities

• Surface & foul water drainage design.
• SuDS strategies and detailed design.
• Flood Risk Assessments.
• S104 drainage agreements.
• S38 & S278 highway design and approvals.
• Liaison with LLFAs, Environment Agency and Water Authorities.
• Support projects from feasibility through to technical approval.
