Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a Velociraptor Sales Engineer to drive net-new business, engage strategic accounts, and help customers modernize data security and management. You will partner with Sales to demonstrate value, displace incumbents, and navigate complex evaluations.

Responsibilities include delivering demos, addressing RFPs, and enabling customers to integrate Cohesity in production environments while traveling as needed and collaborating with product management to relay customer needs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in a customer facing pre-sales role proposing enterprise solutions.
• Experience with enterprise hardware/software, cloud platforms or virtual infrastructure.
• Ability to articulate technology to business and technical users.
• Willingness to travel as required by the role.

Responsibilities

• Uncover and drive new customer opportunities with sales and technical input.
• Demonstrate Cohesity technology to executives and technical buyers.
• Assist in responding to information requests and proposals.
• Manage secondary storage strategy for key customers and partners.
• Deliver product demos, workshops, white papers, and proofs of concept.
• Provide post-sales technical support and project management as needed.
• Relay customer requirements to product teams for improvements.
