Charles River Laboratories is seeking a Scientific Sales Associate to join the Sales and Commercial team. Based in the UK or EU and working remotely, you will identify and qualify prospects to fuel the pipeline and collaborate with marketing, inside and field sales, and scientific SMEs to generate high-quality leads.

You will conduct discovery calls, tailor outreach, and maintain CRM records while aiming to meet monthly KPIs and develop long-term client relationships in the life sciences sector.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or science related discipline.
• Some sales or prospecting experience is desirable.
• Strong communication and remote-working abilities.
• Proficiency with Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, Crunchbase.

Responsibilities

• Proactively source and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound leads.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand research needs and determine solution fit.
• Collaborate with marketing to follow up on campaigns and digital leads.
• Accurately log and maintain all lead activity in Salesforce CRM.
