Job summary

Charles River Laboratories invites a Client Manager to join the Client Services Team at our High Peak site. This hybrid role requires onsite work two days a week, with international travel to conferences as needed.

You will manage UK and EU client relationships, tailor proposals with the sales team, and leverage our pricing strategies to anticipate client needs while delivering excellent service. Ideal candidates have life sciences background and some sales experience, with strong communication

Qualifications

• BSc in Life Sciences required; MSc/PhD preferred.
• Experience selling to clients in pharma or biotech.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel for conferences and events.

Responsibilities

• Draft proposals and schedules of work (SOWs).
• Qualify bids and scopes with clients.
• Coordinate with Legal to secure required documents.
• Maintain and update pipeline data in Salesforce.
• Organise site visits and attend conferences/events.
• Provide external technical presentations on Retrogenix platform and respond to client queries.
