Luton Bennett is hiring a Sales Manager for a leading laboratory equipment provider. The role sits on the Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the General Manager, and combines hands-on sales with strategic leadership.

Remote working is offered with monthly travel to the Cheshire office, and a line-of-sight to broaden the customer base and introduce new products. The successful candidate will drive revenue, manage a growing commercial team, and lead tender processes while developing go-to-market

Qualifications

• Senior sales professional or commercial leader preferred.
• Experience in technical or regulated sectors.
• Proven ability to grow new business (B2B).
• Familiar with pricing, margins and recurring-revenue models.
• Experience with tenders and formal proposals.

Responsibilities

• Broaden customer base, especially life science clients in the private sector.
• Lead sales targets for new business and upsell with existing customers.
• Oversee and build the commercial team.
• Identify international distributors and resellers.
• Own go-to-market plans and product positioning.
• Develop marketing plans aligned with commercial goals.
• Review tenders and public-sector procurement proposals.
