Job summary

DeterTech is seeking a Salesforce Solution Analyst to turn conversations into documented solutions and contribute to Salesforce configuration. The role supports the Salesforce Technical Lead and blends stakeholder engagement with hands-on setup.

Based remotely in the UK, with occasional in-person collaboration; reporting to Ed Haynes. The role requires strong BA/solutions analysis in a Salesforce environment and agile delivery experience.

Qualifications

• Proven requirements gathering and stakeholder interviewing skills.
• Excellent process mapping, requirements and solution documentation skills.
• Able to independently follow up with stakeholders to close gaps and ambiguities.
• Able to translate business requirements into Salesforce functional/technical requirements.
• Hands-on Salesforce configuration capability – this role needs to build, not just document.
• Comfortable supporting the Technical Lead during discovery and design.
• Experience working as a Business Analyst, Solution Analyst, or functional consultant within a Salesforce environment.
• Hands-on ability to configure core Salesforce elements (custom objects, fields, validation rules, record types, and basic Flows).
• Experience writing clear user stories with formal acceptance criteria within an Agile team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging with operational users as well as technical developers and delivery managers.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops.
• Support the Salesforce Technical Lead during discovery and design.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Field Operations, and Finance to understand needs.
• Map processes and define efficient future-state solutions.
• Write detailed user stories with acceptance criteria in Jira.
• Work with delivery to ensure readiness before development Sprints.
• Build elements of solutions directly within Salesforce and test.
• Prepare change communications and end-user guidance.
