Job summary

DeterTech is seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst to join a remote-friendly team, supporting the Salesforce Technical Lead with requirement analysis, documentation, and hands-on Salesforce configuration. You will balance stakeholder conversations, solution design, and practical build work to enable timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven requirements gathering and stakeholder interviewing skills.
• Excellent process mapping and documentation abilities.
• Hands-on Salesforce configuration capability.
• Experience as BA, Solution Analyst, or functional consultant in a Salesforce environment.
• Translate business requirements into Salesforce functional/technical requirements.
• Hands-on ability to configure core Salesforce elements (custom objects, fields, validation rules, record types, and basic Flows).
• Experience writing clear user stories with formal acceptance criteria within an Agile team.
• Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst certification.
• Experience working in a multi-country or matrix organisation.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service.
• Understanding of Salesforce integrations with middleware like MuleSoft.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops.
• Produce clear process maps, requirements documentation and solution designs.
• Translate business requirements into Salesforce functional/technical requirements.
• Independently follow up with stakeholders to close gaps and ambiguities.
• Write well‑structured, detailed user stories in Jira, with acceptance criteria.
• Work with the Technical Delivery Manager during backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Build appropriate Salesforce elements and support testing/validation.
• Prepare change communications and end‑user guidance to drive adoption.
