Job summary

CRA Consulting is recruiting a Fast Track RTA Paralegal to join its Personal Injury team. This remote role is based with the Birmingham, West Midlands area, handling non-infant Fast Track RTA claims and progressing matters via the MOJ Portal.

You will manage your own caseload, assess liability and quantum, review medical evidence and liaise with clients, insurers and experts. A strong PI background and MOJ Portal experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience handling Fast Track RTA claims.
• Strong knowledge of the MOJ Portal.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
• Understanding of personal injury litigation deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of non-infant Fast Track RTA claims.
• Progress claims through the MOJ Portal and litigation processes.
• Assess liability, causation and quantum.
• Review medical evidence and supporting documentation.
• Obtain witness statements and further evidence.
• Prepare correspondence, pleadings and other legal documents.
• Maintain regular contact with clients and provide updates.
• Liaise with insurers, solicitors, medical experts and others.
• Negotiate settlements to achieve best outcomes.
• Monitor court directions, deadlines and dates.
• Maintain accurate records on case management systems.
• Ensure files meet internal quality, compliance and regulatory standards.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards.
