Job summary

CRA Legal is recruiting an RTA Claims Litigator in Birmingham to run a portfolio of claimant RTA files, including non-infant Fast Track matters. You will manage claims through the MOJ Portal and progress to litigation where required, reviewing liability and quantum as part of settlements.

You will handle medical evidence assessment, settlement negotiations and client communications, delivering a high standard of service within a proactive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing claimant RTA/ Fast Track claims.
• Familiarity with the MOJ Portal and RTA process.
• Ability to manage own caseload with autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a caseload of claimant RTA claims, including non-infant Fast Track matters.
• Manage claims through the MOJ Portal and progress cases into litigation when required.
• Review liability, causation and quantum to assess strengths of claims.
• Assess medical evidence and financial losses, prepare documentation.
• Instruct medical experts and obtain further evidence as needed.
• Communicate developments to clients and manage expectations.
• Negotiate settlements with insurers and opposing parties.
• Monitor deadlines and court directions to keep matters on track.
