Job summary

Enterprise Security Systems in the UK is seeking a Revit / CAD Technician to design 2D/3D drawings for physical security systems. The role focuses on BIM Level 2 modelling using Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and CCTV/Access Control contexts, with site surveys occasionally and documentation updates.

You will work with Security Solutions Architects and project teams on large-scale security projects across the UK and Ireland, with home-based working and a DOE salary of £35,000–£39,000.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit for detailed technical drawings and models.
• BIM Level 2 knowledge and compliant with BIM standards.
• Experience producing detailed 2D/3D drawings and BIM models for security systems.

Responsibilities

• Produce and modify 2D and 3D technical drawings for physical security systems.
• Create layouts, schematics, plans, elevations and technical details.
• Model system architecture using Revit MEP.
• Develop and manage BIM models and object libraries to Level 2.
• Produce CCTV field of view visualisations and related drawings.
• Collaborate with Security Solutions Architects and project teams.
• Update red line drawings through to final as-installed documentation.
• Review drawings with clients and incorporate design changes.
• Manage drawing registers, document control and customer transmittals.
• Occasionally attend sites with Technical Designers for surveys.
