Job summary

Enterprise Security Systems is seeking a Revit / CAD Technician to support the design of security systems on large-scale UK and Ireland projects. The role is home-based with a salary of £35,000 to £39,000 DOE.

You will produce 2D/3D drawings, model with Revit MEP, and manage BIM Level 2 libraries while coordinating with architects and project teams.

Strong AutoCAD and Revit skills, BIM Level 2 knowledge, and understanding of CCTV and access control will help you succeed.

Qualifications

Proven proficiency with 2D/3D drawings for security systems.
Strong knowledge of Revit MEP and BIM Level 2 standards.
Understanding of electronic security systems and integration concepts.

Responsibilities

Producing and modifying 2D and 3D technical drawings for physical security systems
Creating layouts, schematics, plans, elevations and technical details
Using Revit MEP to model system architecture
Generating and managing BIM models and object libraries to Level 2
Producing CCTV field of view visualisations
Updating red line drawings through to final as installed documentation
Reviewing drawings with clients and incorporating design changes
Managing drawing registers, document control and customer transmittals
Occasionally attending sites alongside Technical Designers to carry out surveys and gather design information
