Job summary

Platform Housing Group is hiring two Rent Assistants in our Income team. One role is permanent and another is a 6-month contract or secondment. The job focuses on assisting customers with rent accounts, primarily via telephone, while building strong records and delivering excellent service.

The role offers great training, mentorship, and a supportive team environment, with flexibility and opportunities to develop customer service skills in housing.

Qualifications

• Experience of working closely with customers in a customer-focused environment.
• Understanding of welfare benefits or money management advice is helpful, training provided.
• Empathy, excellent listening skills, positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Handle rent account queries largely by phone with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
• Keep accurate records of all customer interactions on our systems.
• Work as part of a supportive Income team with training and mentoring to develop skills.
