Job summary

York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority is seeking a Transformation and Change Project Officer to support a wide-ranging programme of organisational transformation.

Reporting to the Projects Manager, you will assist with project planning, governance, business analysis, performance monitoring and stakeholder engagement across multiple workstreams. This role offers development within a growing public sector organisation, with flexible working and excellent staff development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in project, programme, transformation or change environments.
• Experience supporting delivery of projects/workstreams/organisational improvements.
• Strong organisation and coordination skills with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience gathering, analysing and presenting information to support decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, governance, business analysis and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate projects and programmes; gather and analyse information; prepare reports and briefings.
• Work with colleagues across the organisation to implement effective change.
• Engage with stakeholders to maintain positive working relationships and governance.
• Support development and delivery of project workstreams and improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to performance reporting and governance processes.
• Prepare concise reports, presentations and briefings for management.
• Assist in risk and issue management and dependency tracking.
• Support monitoring of benefits realisation and post-implementation reviews.
