Job summary

North Yorkshire Council is recruiting experienced Programme Managers to lead strategic, cross-cutting transformation programmes across the transformation lifecycle. You will govern outcomes, deliver value, and work with diverse senior stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

You will provide direct line and matrix management to project managers, support the Head of Service, and contribute to shaping the Target Operating Model and service redesign initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in programme management with recognised methodologies.
• Experience leading teams and delivering organisational change.
• Professional qualifications in programme and change management.
• Ability to manage complex stakeholders and resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver strategic, cross-cutting programmes across transformation lifecycle.
• Define governance, manage risks, and ensure successful delivery of programmes.
• Provide direct line and matrix management to project managers.
• Deputise for Head of Service when required.
