Job summary

North Yorkshire Council is seeking experienced Programme Managers to lead strategic, cross-cutting transformation programmes across key service areas such as customer services, transport and workplace transformation. You will define, govern and deliver programmes with senior stakeholders and provide leadership to project managers.

You will operate in a hybrid working setup with a mix of home working and a minimum of two days per week in an office base at one of the council’s transformation hubs

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in programme management using recognised methodologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex stakeholders.
• Track record delivering high-impact organisational change.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver strategic, cross-cutting transformation programmes across the council.
• Provide direct line and matrix management to programme/project managers.
• Govern programmes to ensure clear definition, governance and successful delivery.
• Deputise for the Head of Service when required.
