Job summary

Balfour Beatty in Scotland is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to join the Scotland Energy Delivery Unit, supporting the offshore energy programme.

You will lead risk management strategy, run workshops, and work with Project Teams, Risk Owners and the Customer to embed robust risk processes across the programme.

This role offers exposure to major infrastructure and opportunities to influence commercial decisions and develop risk management capabilities across the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in project-based risk management on large-scale programmes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the risk management strategy and reporting cadence across the offshore programme.
• Lead identification, assessment, response and monitoring of project and programme risks.
• Facilitate risk workshops across multiple project packages.
• Undertake Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis (QCRA) and Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) and related modelling.
• Incorporate project assumptions into risk analysis and regular reporting.
• Support commercial teams with risk information for pricing, forecasting and NEC contracts.
• Provide guidance to Risk Owners on mitigation strategies.
• Develop and deliver risk management training.
• Produce risk reports for internal management teams and the Customer.
• Collaborate with the Customer's risk management team for alignment of approach and reporting requirements.
