Job summary

Balfour Beatty is seeking a skilled Risk Manager to join our Scotland Energy Delivery Unit in Aberdeen/Peterhead. You will lead risk management across an offshore programme, run risk workshops, and support commercial decisions with robust risk reporting.

The role requires experience in large infrastructure projects, proficiency in QCRA/QSRA, and familiarity with ARM and NEC contracts. Strong stakeholder engagement and training delivery are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in project-based risk management for large infrastructure programmes.
• Ability to perform quantitative risk analyses and modelling.
• Familiarity with risk management systems such as ARM or similar.
• Strong understanding of ERM processes and governance.
• Experience with NEC contracts is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the risk management strategy for offshore scope.
• Lead identification, assessment, response, and monitoring of risks.
• Facilitate risk workshops across project packages and teams.
• Conduct QCRA and QSRA and update risk models and reports.
• Collaborate with commercial teams on pricing and forecasting risks.
• Provide guidance to Risk Owners and deliver risk training.
• Produce risk reports for management and customers.
