AtkinsRéalis in the United Kingdom seeks a Quantity Surveyor to deliver cost planning, estimating, and budget management across feasibility to final account. You will prepare cost forecasts, support procurement, and administer various contract types while mitigating commercial risks.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent relevant experience, with progress towards professional chartership (RICS or equivalent).
• Experience in cost planning, estimating, benchmarking and commercial management within infrastructure, construction or related sectors.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights effectively.
• Knowledge of standard methods of measurement and cost management principles.
• Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications, cost management tools and data analysis software.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective client relationships.
• A proactive and innovative approach, with strong organisational skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cost planning, estimating, and budget management from feasibility through to final account.
• Prepare accurate cost forecasts, cashflows, and monthly commercial reports.
• Support procurement activities including tender documentation, analysis, and contract preparation.
• Administer various contract types, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
• Managing contract change reviewing validity, quotations and ensuring timely submissions and agreement.
• Identifying, analysing, and mitigating commercial risks.
• Assisting in value engineering to optimise project performance.
• Build effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partners.
