Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in Cambridge to manage cost planning, estimating and budgeting across infrastructure and construction projects. You’ll analyse data, benchmark costs and support client decision-making while developing dashboards and digital tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent with progress toward chartership (RICS).
• Experience in cost planning, estimating, benchmarking and commercial management.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with data interpretation.
• Good knowledge of measurement methods and cost management principles.
• Proficient IT skills; BIM knowledge advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cost planning, estimating and budget management across projects.
• Produce estimates, budget reviews and commercial assessments.
• Analyse cost data to support client decision-making.
• Prepare benchmarking, value management and cost assurance outputs.
• Ensure accurate forecasts and robust reporting throughout delivery.
• Build relationships with clients, stakeholders and teams; drive improvements.
