Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our Project & Programme Services team on prestigious global projects. We support flexible and remote working within a hybrid culture to help you progress.

You will manage cost planning, estimates and budgets, analyse data for decision-making, and produce benchmarking and cost-outputs. Collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams, you’ll mentor colleagues and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with cost planning, estimating, benchmarking and commercial management in infrastructure or construction.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with data interpretation and insight communication.
• Knowledge of standard methods of measurement and cost management principles.
• Proficiency with IT tools and cost management software; BIM knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cost planning, estimating and budget management across the project lifecycle.
• Produce estimates, budget reviews and commercial assessments across projects and sectors.
• Collect, analyse and interpret cost and project data to support client decisions.
• Prepare benchmarking, value management and cost assurance outputs.
• Ensure data, forecasts and reports are accurate and maintained throughout delivery.
• Build relationships with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
• Champion innovation and develop tools/dashboards for commercial performance.
