Job summary

Nutanix in the United Kingdom seeks a Sales Director for Public Sector (England & Wales) to lead a high‑performing team and drive revenue growth across Central Government, Local Government, Healthcare and Higher Education. You will build strategic relationships with executive stakeholders and leverage a partner ecosystem to modernise public sector technology environments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise technology sales teams in UK Public Sector.
• Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets.
• Knowledge of public sector procurement routes, frameworks and buying cycles.
• Experience selling complex enterprise tech solutions (cloud, infrastructure, software, cybersecurity, data, digital transformation).
• Experience working in a partner-led ecosystem (systems integrators, resellers, tech alliances).
• Strong coaching with structured methodologies (MEDDPIC/MEDDICC/Challenger).

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Account Executives to high performance.
• Develop regional GTM strategy to grow revenue across UK Public Sector.
• Drive forecast accuracy, pipeline health and rhythm of sales processes.
• Build executive relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
• Coach on large, complex opportunities and manage deal progression.
• Collaborate with Sales Eng, Customer Success, Marketing, PS, and Channel teams.
• Recruit, retain and develop top talent with clear succession plans.
